Our super awesome, game-changing, table-transforming, five-piece dinner set took out the coveted PLATINUM Award at this year’s Junior Design Awards in the UK! *throws confetti.*
The Junior Design Awards are held every year by Junior Magazine, the UK’s favourite parenting magazine. 2018 marks the brand’s 20thyear and the launch of the 7thannual awards, which recognises and awards ‘uncompromising style, design and beauty, and celebrating the best-of-the-best in a children’s life.’
With fierce competition from some of the world’s best children’s dinnerware brands, a judging panel of some of the biggest, most influential players in the parenting/ family/ lifestyle industries announced our product as the winner of the Best Eco Children’s Tableware Design Award for 2018!
And while we don’t make our bamboo dinnerware to win awards, we have to say we’re tickled hot pink that our homegrown Aussie brand was awarded this top honour!
Dishwasher safe, stylish and made from ethically sourced bamboo (the off-cuts from the bamboo industry to be precise, so this range is mega eco-friendly), these gorgeous dinner sets that include a plate, bowl, cup, spoon and fork were a huge hit with our judges. Michelle Kennedy, the founder of parenting app Peanut, was very impressed and said, “Turning waste into a useful item which also looks good can only be a good thing!” and interiors guru Lisa Mehydene of Edit 58 said, “So great as it can go in the dishwasher too!”
Pretty rad, eh? *wink*
But honestly, we wouldn’t be where we are today and winning big ol’ fancy awards like this without YOU, our loyal Boo Crew. Thank you for all your support and love for bobo&boo. We still get so excited when we see our Boos out in the wild, being enjoyed by families all around the world, making mealtimes easier, happier, healthier, and fun(er).
You guys are the reason we really feel like winners *hugs.*
