Easter is fast approaching and we're now limited with our plans, so we thought we'd bring the goods with 5 tips on enjoying easter while still being Eco-Conscious. These can also double as great activities for the little one while we're all in isolation.
Try using package free chocolates.
Hop on in the kitchen and get creative. Chocolates are one of the easiest things to make and it will keep the kids busy for at least 10 minutes. Stuck for ideas? It doesn't have to be complicated. We have a super tasty Cacao & Strawberry Sugar-Free Easter Egg recipe here.
Spice up your egg hunt.
Change up the egg hunt this year:Instead of filling a basket with lollies and chocolate consider alternatives such as plants, seed packets or even a small tree your children can replant in the garden.
Make your own
Think baskets, cookies & craft. The kids will love doing all these activities with you, you'll save a few dollars and you can drink wine while you do it. Tell me a better combo...I'll wait. 😉 We found some great Easter activities for you and the kids to do here.
Say adios to unnecessary plastics.
Try to avoid those pesky plastic plates and serving trays. Yes, they're convenient but in the long run, they aren't doing anyone any favours. We also might know someone who has a great alternative for dinnerwear that won't cost the earth and will look great with all your homemade decorations.
