Bobo&Boo has created durable, eco-friendly dinnerware that can withstand even the fiercest of toddler tantrums. However, we can’t 100% guarantee that our bamboo and plant-based products won’t break when dropped or thrown - especially by a grumpy threenager who doesn’t want to eat their vegetables. The good news is that they won’t shatter like glass or ceramics, but may chip or crack if hurled against hard surfaces. We recommend you treat your bobo&boo goods like you treat your Little Boos: thoughtfully, patiently, and with lots of love.

I got these for our outdoor eating adventures. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, and eating outdoors has become part of our rhythm, only .. it was cumbersome with our regular heavy, breakable dinner plates. I was so happy to finally find an affordable, non/toxic, dishwasher safe, durable, and reusable option. My kids love the bright cheerful colors! The only thing I don’t love, is that they are showing m scratch marks from forks. I am hoping that won’t cause leaching of any sort of chemical. 🙃
I searched high and low to find something for our family that was plastic and melamine-free and still durable. This is it! I just ordered another set because I love it so much!

These were the only kids dishes I could find that weren’t made of plastic and were dishwasher and microwave safe. They’re exactly what I was looking for and they’ve been great so far.

I love that you can microwave them and put them in the dishwasher. The only two downsides I've noticed so far are: 1) you can't cut anything on them or it will cut into the material and 2) they slide around when my son tries to use them making it harder for him to use. He gets frustrated trying to pick things up. I'm hoping it's just because he's too young for these and he will grow into them.

We also have suction pads available to help tame the little plate throwers, but they would also be helpful for keeping the plates secured from moving around on slippery surfaces. These dishes make me happy because - unbelievably - they will end up in the compost pile. They’re super practice too - they go in the dishwasher and microwave. Their design is good for older kids too, though I would have preferred the option of mixing my own colors.
