Bobo&Boo has created durable, eco-friendly dinnerware that can withstand even the fiercest of toddler tantrums. However, we can’t 100% guarantee that our bamboo and plant-based products won’t break when dropped or thrown - especially by a grumpy threenager who doesn’t want to eat their vegetables. The good news is that they won’t shatter like glass or ceramics, but may chip or crack if hurled against hard surfaces. We recommend you treat your bobo&boo goods like you treat your Little Boos: thoughtfully, patiently, and with lots of love.
I was so excited to have found plastic free kids tableware!
I have purchased the bowls and plates in every colour, then gone back for more!
When researching plates for my 3 yr old I wanted something that was a good size, stacked and didn't have sections but started to find that almost every kid "friendly" set was not only made of or covered in plastic but was also not microwaveable and are rarely dishwasher safe.
What an absolute find these are!
Love the bright colours (although I'd love to see purple 😉) so far no breaks (I've had for 4 moths), only thing I will say is, don't leave water puddles in them, as this causes a chalky colour change, though I think it only lasts till the next wash?
I haven't been kind to mine, always use the dishwasher and have microwaved for 1.5 mins for instant porridge, but they hold up well regardless.
Don't use kives on them like I did while again the plate is still usable its now scratched.
But it's such a relief to know I'm not adding more micro-plastics to my kids lives.
