🌿 From Baby Plates to Plant Power: Why I Made the Switch to Plant-Based Dinnerware

Let me take you back to where it all began…

When my eldest was just one, I started bobo&boo from our kitchen table—driven by one big goal: to make mealtimes safer, simpler, and actually fun for families like mine.

Back then, I was diving deep into ingredient labels and learning more about toxins in everyday products. It didn’t take long before I realised it wasn’t just about what I was feeding my kids—it was about what I was serving it on, too. That’s when our original bamboo range came to life—non-toxic, stylish, and refreshingly free from cartoon characters.

And you know what? Our bamboo dinnerware has been loved hard by thousands of families since then (mine included—my boys are now 8 and 11 and still use theirs daily!).

But as time ticked on, I found myself asking:
"What’s next? How can we do even better?"

🌱 Enter: Plant-Based Dinnerware

After years of loving our bamboo range, I came across something that felt like a true next-level upgrade—a plant-based material made from renewable resources like corn starch (PLA).
