
Coming into hot summer days we love cooling down with a refreshing smoothie bowl, even my daughter loves this recipe and she’s a quite fussy eater. Smoothie bowls are great as little ones don’t make as much of a mess as they do with standard smoothies, as they are thicker and are eaten with a spoon.
In this recipe pictured above I have used: (makes one large bowl)
- 1 ½ Frozen Bananas
- ¾ Cup of Frozen Strawberries
- ½ Cup of Frozen Raspberries
- ¾ Cup of Ocean Spray Pomegranate and Cranberry juice
- Alternatively you can use soy milk, coconut water or milk to replace the Pomegranate/Cranberry juice. Also for a thick drinkable smoothie you can add 1 cup of liquid
- Top with fresh Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Hemp seeds & Chia
- Tip when freezing Bananas, peel them first and place in a freezer bag
